Stepping out for some promotional duties, Anne Hathaway and Jake Gyllenhaal were spotted at a screening of “Love and Other Drugs” in New York City last night (November 15).
The “Princess Diaries” babe and her “Prince of Persia” costar chatted with audience members at the 2010 New York Variety Screening Series at AMC Loews 19th Street East 6 Theater.
As for the rumors that Anne had a birthday blowup while out to dinner last week, her rep says the incident “never happened.”
It was previously reported that Hathaway stormed out of Tocqueville restaurant in tears after a fight with her family. An eyewitness revealed, “It sort of came on pretty suddenly. Everyone got pretty quiet. She left crying, and then her boyfriend [Adam Shulman] followed her but her parents remained.”
Braving the rainy conditions, Anne Hathaway turned up for the world premiere of “Alice in Wonderland” at London’s Odeon Leicester Square on Thursday (February 25).
Clad in a sexy Vivienne Westwood ensemble, the Oscar winning actress sashayed through the entrance to join co-stars Johnny Depp and Helena Bonham-Carter, as well as director Tim Burton.
Talking to press about her character in the film, Miss Hathaway said, “I thought that Nigella was very helpful in the way she is so passionate about food. Especially descriptions of it and that really helped me, more so when she is in the kitchen.”
The 27-year-old continued: “I am misquoting her but Nigella is always talking about (does an impression) ‘a cacophony of flavors that enters your mouth’. You know, I wanted to give the White Queen a sensuality in the kitchen and of course she’s talking about buttered fingers and things like that and makes herself wretch so it’s not quite the same.”

The Italian businessman, a longtime boyfriend of actress Anne Hathaway’s, is being held in New York City’s Metropolitan Correctional center on $21 million bail, and he’d might as well kiss his birthday party goodbye.
Follieri’s attorney told press, “We’re working on putting the bail together.” Reportedly, Raffaello has a huge shindig booked on the jet-set island of Capri. But the terms of his bail will most definitely include house arrest and no possibility for leaving the country.
According to press, Follieri has been spending his days in a seven-and-a-half by eight foot two man cell that includes a bunk bed, toilet, desk, sink, and a very small window. Meanwhile, his ex has been gallivanting around the world promoting her new movie “Get Smart” along with co-star Steve Carell.

It’s almost time for “Bride Wars” to be unleashed on the American public. And last night Kate Hudson and Anne Hathaway were in the house for the big New York City premiere.
The “Fool’s Gold” gal and her “Get Smart” partner-in-crime showed up at the AMC Loews in Lincoln Square to pose for pics and meet and greet fans before heading inside for the screening.
And in a recent interview, Miss Hudson confessed that she’s always been a bit boy crazy. “When I was a teenager, like, when I turned 16, I loved boys. That was just my thing. My mom was like, ‘Oh boy, she loves boys!’ I always loved boys. I still love boys. First of all, I always had a boyfriend. This is the first time I’ve been single since I was 16!”
She also discussed the dodgy dating scene. “I’ve been on so many bad dates. I went on one where I just left because he was so boring. I felt really bad, and I didn’t want him to pay for dinner. It’s like, ‘It’s really nice to meet you’ – moving on! Then you call your friend and you’re like, ‘Really? Really? Is that who you think I would have a great night with?!’”

Celebrities and charity go hand-in hand. And last night (December 7) Anne Hathaway auctioned off the chance to spend an evening out with her to benefit a Los Angeles-area organization.
The “Princess Diaries” babe’s prize went for a pretty penny at the Cracked X-mas Fundraiser, garnering a whopping $12,000 from three fans.
Anne exclaimed, “I’m not usually very forward, but I thought if there was ever a crowd for me to do something like this, this is my crowd so I would like to auction myself off for drinks somewhere fabulous and basically get you totally s— faced. Tell me what I’m worth.”
As the bidding continued to go up, Hathaway mused, “I’m blushing. Wow, I feel really good right now.” And when the price topped $12,000, an embarrassed Anne had been bought.
All of the proceeds from the night went to benefit the Trevor Project, a crisis helpline for LGBT youth.
