After months of drama, Eddie Murphy and the mother of his child, Melanie Brown, have reconciled.
The “Doctor Dolittle” actor spoke about his child openly at the New York City Tribeca Film Festival.
“While promoting ‘Shrek Forever After,’ Eddie talked a lot about his kids,” says a source. “Ever since, he’s been making efforts with Mel to get to know their daughter.”
The two have been feuding since the news of her pregnancy in 2006, where Murphy denied being the father and was constantly accused of not wanting anything to do with their child.
But a source says he hosted a party last week, where Brown, her husband Stephen Belafonte and 3-year-old daughter Angel were all spotted.
“They’ve both said some really nasty things about each other to the press,” says our source. “But Eddie’s ex-wife Nicole helped them fix their issues. Angel is Eddie’s youngest child, and Nicole wanted her children to know her. That helped Eddie to come around and get past all the animosity he had toward Mel.”

It may be the most anticipated film of the year, and surprisingly Robert Pattinson is keeping his cool over the release of “New Moon.”
The hyped up vampire flick hit theatres this Friday, November 20th and the Edward Cullen actor insists he’s remaining calm.
Although Rob did admit he was nervous when filming first began because of high expectations, he recently told press, “I’m surprised at how relaxed I am about the whole thing now.”
Thinking back to “Twilight,” the 23-year-old seems more comfortable because, “hopefully I learned a couple of things that seemed to work on the first one. So I’m pretty calm now.”

She’s about $500,000 in debt to the IRS and Pamela Anderson is doing what she can to get some money together.
The former “Baywatch” babe is said to be remedying her cash-strapped situation by putting together a movie based on celebrity sex tapes.
An inside source revealed to press, “Pam has been working on an idea and a script is about to be commissioned.”
“It will make an hilarious movie and an interesting insight into how sex tapes become so huge whether or not the people in them know about it or not. The main character is not unlike Pam but the idea is to make this about all sex tapes rather than just hers.”

After she did her part for the American Government, Christina Aguilera decided to help out the American economy with a shopping trip last night (November 4).
Following a change of clothes, the “Genie in a Bottle” songstress was spotted out with her husband Jordan Bratman shopping for their son Max at the Juvenile Shop.
And while life is pretty sweet for the blonde chanteuse, she’s not willing to rest on her laurels. According to a recent report, she’s already looking ahead to the next album.
Aguilera has reportedly already hit the studio to record some new tracks, teaming up with producer Linda Perry to have an album of all-new songs in stores for the summer of 2009.
Christina told press, “With my last album, I had music that was very ’20s, ’30s and ’40s, and was very detailed and part of a very specific genre and sound. But with this new album, I wanted to go in a completely opposite direction — a very futuristic, robotic sound and computer-sounding vocals.”

Out keeping up her sexy look, Kim Kardashian was spotted imbibing in an afternoon of pampering in Beverly Hills on Monday (January 26).
The E! reality starlet dropped by a local nail salon in her workout gear, getting a mani/pedi alongside fellow celebrity client Janice Dickinson.
As previously reported by , Kim spent the previous night enjoying a little quality time with boyfriend Reggie Bush, as the two got all dressed up for a dinner date at Koi.
Kim also recently spoke up on her Razzie nomination (held February 21) for Worst Actress, telling: “I’m having a really good laugh over the fact that I’ve been nominated for a Razzie this year. There is steep competition in my ‘worst supporting actress’ category, I have to admit… including my fantastic costar Carmen Electra (you go girl!), Leelee Sobieski (what a surprise!), Jenny McCarthy (really?) and Paris Hilton (who could technically sweep this year’s awards with a whopping three nominations!).”

Making her way to the Big Apple, Demi Lovato was spotted arriving at her New York City hotel on Saturday (May 2).
The 16-year-old Disney starlet was for the chillier weather in a black top with jeans, smiling for photographers as she hit the hotel entrance.
Along her way, Demi took time to hit up her Twitter account, writing: “Totally saw Winona Ryder on my flight! But I was too embarrassed to say hi… but I did stare like a crazy person!”
“No! I’m not kidding, I planned in my head what I was going to say, ‘Hi, you’re my favorite actress. I say it in every interview!!!’ But then I just walked RIGHT passed her… Hahahaha. Mannn…… Oh well,” Miss Lovato adds.

Keeping up a killer promotional schedule, Emma Watson was spotted leaving her hotel in New York City this morning (November 16).
Miss Watson was on her way to give an interview at “Live with Regis and Kelly” to drum up interest in her new movie “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1.”
Last night, Emma was over at Alice Tully Hall in Manhattan where she attended the New York City premiere of the film.
Prior to that, Miss Watson paid a visit to the Ed Sullivan Theatre where she chatted with David Letterman on “The Late Show.”

Keeping up on her schedule to better herself, Lindsay Lohan was spotted making her way to the Betty Ford Clinic bright and early on Wednesday morning (November 17).
The “Mean Girls” babe looked cute in workout gear and shades as she carried a cup of joe to an awaiting vehicle that whisked her away for the day’s addiction treatment.
In recent news, Lohan is working on getting permission from the clinic so she can spend Thanksgiving and Christmas with her family in Long Island, New York.
Realizing the tall order, a source told press, “Lindsay is completely committed to her treatment and if Betty Ford nixes her holiday plans…she’s ok with it.”

Reality show producers love a hot mess with lots of drama and/or an interesting family life. And well, for the A&E network to want to have cameras follow around David Hasselhoff and his family doesn’t quite surprise me. Read more about the possibility of a David Hasselhoff reality show here.
His personal life already seems to unfold right before our eyes daily, so why would a televised David Hasselhoff reality show be necessary?
Now granted this show wouldn’t just focus on the Hoff himself. You know those daughters of his that have been in the public eye for taking care of their dad during a couple of alcohol-infested stupors? Well if all goes well, they will also be starring in the show.
Just last week, David’s younger daughter, Hailey, took to her Twitter to say, “The Hasselhoffs signed the deal with A&E ….. Get readdyy for it.” Soon after it was posted, it was deleted.
A spokesperson for A&E has said, “We are discussing a possibility of doing a documentary series with David and his kids.”
However, it does not sound as if a deal has been reached.
I’m not so sure this would be a very wise decision for David. But for his daughters? Perhaps this could be the launching pad to their singing career?
